This is the autobiography of Duff Cooper, a literary and political figure in the UK in the first half of the 20th century. He uses numerous excerpts from his diary as he comments on people and events.

Because he died in 1954, his work is out of copyright in Canada and this work did not have its copyright renewed in the U. S., so it is out of copyright in the US as well.
