My absolute favorite place to buy books is iTunes. I generally have a supply of iTunes gift cards purchased during 20-25% off sales, so the discount compared to Amazon really adds up. If I could just figure out an easy way to read those on a Kobo I think I'd give it a try.

If you want the freedom to read your purchased books on any device, I most certainly would advise
against purchasing them from iTunes.
Amazon or Kobo = yes.
