Appetite for Murder is the first in the Hayley Snow mystery series by Lucy Burdette - a pen name for Roberta Isleib, who has also written a series of golf mysteries of which I remember reading and enjoying at least one or two in DTB a few years ago.

Appetite for Murder is $1.99 at Kobo and Amazon US, at least. The rest of the series is $5.99 and up, so this appears to be one of those "give you a deal on the first in the series as a teaser for the rest" sort of deals, but still, it's a good price on a Penguin (not couponable at Kobo, sigh) title.
