Ditto to the above posters. (That cover better be good.) There is an official disclaimer on alf's website that library removal will get no help, and is strongly condemned.

The only reason there is a Fair Use justification is because the tools are meant for purchases only, whether they work or library books or not (don't know don't care fingers-in-ears emote goes here) and that is also why there is a legal justification (shaky, unchallenged, etc.) to distribute the tools.

That being said, some library ebooks are Open EPUBs which can be freely converted. At least, OverDrive has a few. Dunno about Axis.
