I agree about the portability. I'm keeping the Voyage too, it's significantly smaller and lighter than the H20, it's better for carrying around town. I bought a tight sleeve for it, it's hardly noticeable. If I had to pick one I'd take the H20, the portability isn't a necessity to me, it's a luxury. I read on the H20 the vast majority of the time, but it's nice to be able to throw the Voyage in a pocket if I'm going somewhere. It's doable with the Kobo too, but the Voyage is the better pick if the portability is your primary concern.

I think over time it's going to become more common to find "deals" and bargains on books direct from publishers. So the Amazon ecosystem will likely be more rare rather than less. It's still going to be a big draw for those who aren't very technical, (or don't want to bother) but authors and publishers are likely to continue to limit the middle man!
