After sitting unused for about 6 months, my N289 Kobo just got a forced upgrade to 1.9.12.
Surprise surprise ... no internal storage and no books. Every boot it tells me it's updating the software.
I've tried all the combinations of resets, and no joy.
Could somebody PM to me the right image file?
My wife has a N647 model that currently has v1.9 firmware dated March 29, 2011. Does that model run different firmware, and if so, will it get trashed the moment it gets a forced update to 1.9.12?
