If this method does not work, you can only open your device and manipulate the internal SD card. Ask in the same thread as above ( https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=249560) for the image file, so that you can write it to the sd.
Another possibility is to mount the user partition of the sd and delete the folder "kbmenu" in ".kobo".
Alternatively, if you did the other changes correctly (cf. this post ) replace the old touch driver (.kobo/kbmenu/Qt/plugins/mousedrivers/libKoboTS.so) with the new one (get it here) to make the menu responsive.
Of course, best would be if you can manage to factory reset the device.

Thanks for your reply, I tried the method in post 2 and seems it still cannot reset my h20. In fact, I just brought my h2o on today and so I think I would not open it(and don't know how), maybe I can try to return to the buyer and see if I can exchange for a new unit.
Besides, you mentioned to mount the user partition of the sd card? Do you mean I need to open the h2o and take the internal sd card out for it?
