From the OP. He says the books are there via Explorer. Hence my advice about system time.

I can assure you from years of personal experience that the books on a Kobo Wifi added in, as far as the Kobo is concerned, "the future" will not show up *at all* on any part of the Kobo. Not recent. Not library. Not anywhere.

Kobo Wifi has a tendency to lose date/time settings and go back to the distant past every time the battery is discharged and it sits discharged for a while. (I believe "a while" to be about a week.)

I cannot tell you how many times this quirk got me. Especially on vacations where I was away from my usual charging habits.

"Where'd my books go? I could have sworn... "

"Oh wait, Kobo thinks it is 1981. Fixed it. There my books are!"
