That's when and where I learned, too.
ETA - on the subject of floaters, I have them and I have them all the time. I am never not aware of them. I do work that calls for a high level of visual concentration, along with photography, which calls for the same, and the floaters, ever present, are terrible and distracting until they float out of view. Wish I could go buy two new eyeballs.
