I at first thought it was also a combination of a possible WinXP update that happened as well since those continually keep coming and no one really keeps track of them. But that going back to 2.4.0 worked flawlessly and let me keep sending multiple books in the same session on the same PC even with whatever updates to WinXP that might have happened, without ever seeing that error pop up ever again, convinced me it it was something on Kobo's end. I had tried whatever various different USB drivers were posted to help at times with no luck.
