When I first go the new version, I didn't uninstall 3.6.2 first, I just clicked the apk from my drop box and told it to replace the app. This time I uninstalled 3.6.2 first after clearing cache and then went back to my drop box apk and installed and now I can listen wifi and download the audio.

It did not though sync with the audio part I already played on another device unfortunately. It started the book at the chapter 1, I am at chapter 7 already.
