There is another possible fix for Play Store. It involves force closing and then wiping the cache and data from the Play Store app and the Google Services Framework app. You then restart your T68. You can find where to do that under settings/extension/application settings. It won't hurt anything, and it sometimes fixes the problem. You may have to sign in again when you go to Play Store again, but you don't lose any apps or app data.

Maybe that's the issue? I don't have any app called "Google Services Framework" in the list on the manage apps page. I did force close and wipe the data from the Play store, but that didn't help.
