Well, Katie, it came a month early, and my first impression is: Why the big price?

The only Kindle I can compare it with is my Touch. Both are the 3g with special offers.

No sound.

Big plus for me, the front is completely flat; no button, no hard to clean, recessed screen.

The usb is on the bottom all by its lonesome. The power button is on the back, top right. It's round, 'bout a 1/4" diameter, almost flush, with a downward curve. Very easy to use. Big improvement over the Touch.

And that's all there is, usb and power.

It's narrower, shorter, thinner, lighter; all as advertized.
