Even though the above, from post #239, was basically an incidental statement, I feel that I should update the information in it. Audible/Amazon apparently is making or has made a change. I am quoting from a post that I just made on the "Non-fiction" thread:
The Amazon webpage in the U.S., http://www.amazon.com/Rise-Theodore-...osevelt+morris, at least, shows, in the list of other formats available, the price for the "Audible Audio Edition, Unabridged Edition" (this is "Whispersync-ready") as $0.00. Something is awry. If you follow the link, you get a page that says that the audiobook is $26.95 (although in the list of other formats, it shows the price as $0.00 again!). The "Whispersync for Voice"-->"Add Narration" box shows the price as $3.99, but if you follow the link, you will get the same webpage (or one that looks the same) If you go directly to the Audible webpage for the audiobook, it shows a price of $26.95, with no mention of a Whispersync price that I can see.
