Greetings from Lynn MA

I bought ordered myself a Kindle on 10.27.08 as a birthday gift from my cat (she's so good to me!) based on Oprah's rave a few days before and started buying books the day it arrived. Tonight I discovered that there are other sources besides Amazon for eBooks which brings me here to MobileRead!
I love the option of free book samples through Amazon and have found several authors I hadn't tried before.

I have bookcases full of books, favorites I reread and unopened books I haven't gotten to yet. This doesn't count the boxes of paperbacks I would like to find new homes for - I would like to SELL them not give them to friends like I always have done in the past.

There are used book stores in my area but they don't buy books, the best you can do is save up credits toward purchases of their books.

Perhaps someone reading this introduction can suggest ways that I could replace my unread books with Kindle versions? My thought is that people could buy ME the eBook version and pay shipping charges for the hard copies. I think that would be a heck of a deal considering the prices I have paid over the years would be higher than shipping & the Kindle version.

I look forward to learning of more sources of eBooks from my fellow MobileRead Members.
