I am having a problem with USB on both my iMac and on Vista 64-bit.

I was never able to mount my iLiad on Vista.

It mounted on the Mac, I transfered a bunch of books, but I did have the same problem as above, that it would not disconnect.

Last night I tried to mount it on the iMac again, and I just couldn't get it to connect - no PC Connected message on the iLiad and no drive icon on the desktop:-(

I thought maybe is just a bad cable, but didn't have another one handy (wish iRex had gone "standard" with Mini-USB.) But maybe not.
