I saw their pics of the new corners, and I must admit I'm jealous! However, since they wrote back to my email and said they are only doing a limited set of designs this year, I won't regret my decision to buy a 6x9 journal and convert the cover. I cut the front cover off my original Kindle case (since there was no way I was going to use it again) and nestled the back cover into the slot for the journal to fit. I added velcro to the right edge only -- and it also serves to keep the orig-case-back-cover securely in place, since it can't move against the velcro. The Oberon designed-to-fit-a-Kindle is only 8 inches tall, so mine has an extra 1/2 inch on top and bottom (see 2nd shot). But since it is such lovely leather, I don't mind it!
