That's it exactly isn't it. Remember they did something similar with the PW1. Even changing some of the wording & photos to show how a 'normal' PW1 should look, instead of the very even, shadow-free lighting their pictures previously showed.
They should just admit they are having issues with variances in the light quality in some of them and if you are unhappy just return it for a refund. This kind of rubbish just makes people who are already frustrated a little angry.
Meanwhile for those who have a great looking device, just enjoy it. Although some people might be disappointed with their own experience, it doesn't mean you need to feel guilty.
