As I replied to you on another thread Harry, we have had exactly the same situation in my family. The system ended up being corrupted, and the exact same Error messages were shown, with the same consequences that a Factory reset changed nada, and that the device had to be exchanged after a Kindle CS representative indicated that that (Active Content app) probably was the cause of the corruption. You even agreed that it seemed strange to you, but that it could be possible.

I am not indicating this because I have a case of Schadensfreude, or because I dare, worm that I am, have a different opinion than yours, but because it might be useful for others.

They can also just believe you and happily load and experiment Active Content app for all I care.
