Not much of a change -
We want Amazon to ship enough of the new models with the new firmware into the field that they can't "pull" that initial release and re-think the situation.
But once a new model and its initial firmware become "history" due to the number of devices in private hands -
Then the end-result of our efforts becomes public.
The "how did someone come up with this" part -
that has always been knowledge only the originator knows about.
Sometimes these things get "engineered", sometimes the person just "gets lucky".
We only have self-motivated individuals working on the Amazon challenges - not organized groups.
For us its a game.
For Amazon it is a significant expense item in their development program.
Someday, Amazon's bean counters will win - by recognizing that going to an "Open Kindle" is the better business decision.
