Sales have already started for Black Friday. Currently Amazon and Walmart are running special sales, with Home Depot starting an appliance sale on Wednesday.
Some of the stores are already posting ads for special sales and others are posting lists of some of the items they'll have on sale. The most interesting approach so far is from

Anyway you look at it, this will be a long Black Friday season. I plan to set up a post with the most current sales and planned special sales that'll be taking place before Black Friday.
