I read Amazon was giving away Fire tablets with their Fire phone to try and move the phone. The fact they were giving away the tablets suggests they at least have stock they are having trouble moving.
Amazon is trying to enter and thrive in already saturated markets recently. I'm thinking tablets and phones. We know the phone attempt is a disaster. The tablet market is pretty glutted, too. They may have warehouses of the things collecting dust. Amazon does seem to be wrong-footing it a bit lately.
