Yes Harry, sorry for the misnomer. You are correct of course about the lighting terminology.

Looks like I need to edit the post and repost the pics back in a way that accommodates the site policies. Apologies all.

There is no question that the built-in light of the PW series trumps the case light of the old K3. But I find either PW very readable and surprisingly, found the PW2014 to be a tad on the brownish side at lower light levels than the PW2012. But that appears to change once the light levels exceed level 8.

Other than the speed of operation, I don't see that great a difference in the PW2012 and the PW2014. Both are equally readable imo. And the speed difference is not that great either, in my limited testing.
