I chose Amazon because at the time I frist encountered ebooks, Amazon was practically the only shop where I could buy english ebooks. Due to country restrictions english ebooks were very hard to get in Switzerland at that time and so, when the first kindle was available for international orders, I bought one and ever since stuck to it. Was never disappointed so far.
