It's not a question of them thinking that people only read for 30 minutes a day, and certainly not one of us limiting ourselves to 30 minutes a day.

The "30 minute a day" figure is an arbitrary figure used to demonstrate the overall battery life. The figure itself doesn't mean anything. They could just as easily have used 60 minutes per day, or six hours per day.

I would have thought that was blindingly obvious, but perhaps not.
