With the HD as well they only ever produced one case and it was black. I can see them going down this road in future, it makes more sense to them as that way they only have one case to produce so no risk of being left with cases no one wants.
Ironically I just bought a Kobo Glo (as I've heard they might discontinue it) and WHSmith has all the cases half price. After tralling the net and five stores the only official case I could find is black. But it's nice and it works really well
