For the position within the shelf, unless they just want the position in one particular shelf, it's a bit more difficult. Knowing why it is wanted could affect how to do it. |

, but I have to admit on a second reading your interpretation seems likely - but in that case I'm
fairly certain the Goodreads API doesn't have a way to tell you that (but it's a good while since I read through the API, so I could easily be wrong).
