My advice in general is to keep it simple at first:
- Play around with the device with just a couple of books until you have it working the way you want.
- Don't be afraid to do a factory reset early on and start all over again. Once you have hundreds of books loaded and your device fully customised this becomes more of a hassle.
- Don't apply any firmware patches and don't install the Calibre KoboTouchExtended driver (for converting epub to kepub) until you are sure you need to do something you can't do without them.
