Hi Peter, I'm sure people have had success with the plugins and patches. I didn't on my first attempt and wanted to cover some basic steps for other beginners on file management and how to restore the device if a plug in corrupts.

I can't post a link to the DRM plug in site. But you probably know which one it was. As I said I successfully installed the plug in following the exact directions.

Then I activated this plug in that was included within calibre.

That's it and one of them corrupted the files when I tried to convert to kepubs. Disabling and deleting the plug in didn't help. One of the book files wouldn't open and said the DRM was expired, which was strange because I don't think it ever had a DRM.

So I suspect that it might be conflict or bug for the H20. I was hoping another H20 person had tried it. I see some other comments in other threads for installing patches but there is no basic instructions. Maybe I'm just not cool enough for a Kobo?

So far this has been my experience. If anyone can provide some patches that work that would be great. Otherwise I'm just going to use it as is.

I thought providing some basic instructions would help others.

cybmole, i appreciate the message.
