In the very large print at the top of the email it says: Read on your Kobo or any device using the free Kobo app.
I checked some on the list and they were all kepub.
Worth keeping in mind if you:
1. Don't have a Kobo.
2. Don't want to use the Kobo app.
3. Don't want to in some way manipulate your purchases to make them readable on another device.
