Amazon's developer site told us that they hadn't released 3.5.5 so they couldn't accept 3.5.5b for consideration. However, their customer site was saying that 3.5.5 was available (as it had been for days), so someone was confused. Yesterday after being prodded they said that 3.5.5 was in fact released to customers and they agreed to accept 3.5.5b into their queue. I hope this means that the new release will be made available soon, perhaps tomorrow (Friday), but who knows.
