So far, I haven't found any others that weren't the saved value.
I cannot repeat this.

Steps I took:
  1. Set CC to landscape
  2. Save settings
  3. Go to Android settings/Apps & clear data
  4. Start CC. It goes through a database setup. And it is in portrait.
  5. Restore the settings backed up above.
  6. CC changes to landscape.

I did the experiment again with Move disconnect to menu. It restored properly.

Is it possible that you are restoring a backup made some number of releases ago?
