Let's see, apple: you want to be able to use both upper case & lower case for text? That will be $100+ more for the upgrade. apple: you want to be able to use the tv as a monitor & be able to see colors? Horrors, that will be another $100+ upgrade......
Mac 512: put in a 3.5 floppy from an ibm clone to use on the mac expecting that I'll be able to have the mac reformat the floppy. no go; won't recognize the floppy & won't eject it as the eject was disabled; only able to get the floppy out by unplugging the power cord. floppy works fine on both the ibm clone & atari.
4mm tape drive: bought a new tape drive for the mac which worked perfectly on the ibm clone; was told that the reconditioned pc tape drive will also work but that the tape drives for the pc won't work on apple products but the reverse isn't true.
mac hdd: sysadm had time so swapped the hdd from ibm to imac for proof of apple roms; both drives same size from same manufacturer. pc hdd won't work/recognized on the imac; imac hdd was reformatted by the pc & os installed & working.
I'm supposed to like crapple products? even now the with the hi rez monitors like apple's 5k monitor, I wonder if people will be able to read text without downgrading the system resolution. there is already a problem with the 27" monitors running at 2560x1440 to read the system fonts; in fact, there is even a problem in reading the system fonts at 1920x1080 rez I using on a mac mini as it looks like the system fonts got downsized to not easily readable for older folks.

That's quite a history and quite a lot of knowledge about a product you hate. I'm not trying to be funny or anything but why not just buy something else? I'm just curious.
