we can't really get into the plug in stuff here. I will jsut say that many many posters here use alf's plugins, if you are going to make wild claims that
"Just a heads up that some of the plug ins can corrupt the file in both Calibre and the H20" then you need to assemble your evidwence & post it on the relevant site, not here.

the plug ins I think you refered to ( from that other site) only affect how books are added to calibre, they have nothign to do with how fiels tehn get from calibre to your or my Kobo devices ( I have the HD not the H20)
There is a choice of output drivers ( not plug ins) for the calibre-kobo link- they are documented here at MR and can be safely discussed as thy have nothing to do with DRM.

you will find the discussion in calibre sub forum for drivers ( search there for Kobo)
if you suspect one of those of corrupting any files then report it, with evidence in the relevant thread. I have read that those drivers are working fine with H2O though.

I can only guess that you chose a wrong plug in, but you'll have to ask at that other site or take it to PM, else you risk a ban,
