I agree. Cloud Collections sucks on so many levels, however, with cloud collections came "book cover" display as opposed to text line only display - and maybe I'm remembering wrong (nope, just checked and my K3/KK has collections, but text only, no covers display).
When I downgraded my PW1 to 5.3.4.2 and upgraded all the way through 5.3.9, it was text only collections, no covers, and no option for anything else that I could see - this was working fast so I could have missed it. Once I went to 5.4.4.1 the covers were back and so were CCs. 5.4.4.1 was my choice because it was to me the most stable fw that included collections and covers display. Right after that fw update is when my PW1 started messing up. I'm a photographer, very visual, and I just want my collections to show the covers. Now that it's back to 5.4.4.1 and has JB, I am one happy camper and all the issues smoothed right out. 5.4.4.2 was a bad, bad update for me.
Who knows, maybe I'm a bit looney, or had a beer, or whatever, but this was my experience when downgrading and then doing JB. That's why I upgraded after JB and what I want from the Collections Manger hack. No covers displaying on home page, then I won't be quite as happy.
Am I'm missing something here with regards to earlier fws? Thanks again!
