I apologize if this is addressed elsewhere, but I haven't been able to find it.

I received my Kindle Voyage yesterday and it is a very impressive screen in terms of font sharpness and black on white contrast (I already had the PW2). But, without NiLuJe's screensaver and font hacks, I'm not sure I want to keep it for the small upgrade-- and high additional cost -- it represents.

Are any developers here intending to get the device and try to work on it? Can I help in any way (short of removing the back cover!)? My software is listed as 5.5.0, and my serial number starts with B054. I presume it would be idiotic to try the most recent jailbreak exploit on this new device?

Absent the wonderful hacks of this forum -- or at least a reasonable prospect that they will be coming -- I think this KV is going back to Amazon. Aside from the marginally better screen, I find the other upgrades not all that helpful. The physical page turn press areas are misplaced (too low) for how I hold the device, and the auto dimmer function, for me, over dims in normal and bright light and I have quickly turned it off. Certainly they're not worth the trade-off of not having Georgia font on my device and my book covers as screensavers!
