I have arrived in the thread to post and thus I have acquired the win. The win is mine for the moment although I likely lose the win in the near future when someone else posts, but I have it for the moment. It's a wonderful and happy moment in my life that the win is now mine, although I shall be slightly sad when someone takes the win from me. Still, the sadness is offset by the fact that I will easily be able to take the win once again, making me the winner once more. Thus, my loss is only a temporary thing, in no way permanent. Although there's no way for me to know if I will be the ultimate winner, unlikely that may be with all of the other posters, it is still a small possibility. Plus, this post will likely excess the total number of letters in a large number of "I win" posts, making this win even more of a win than many of the other wins. However, that actually is a non-factor since it is only the last post that counts, which this one is, at least when I hit the "Post Quick Reply" button and it appears in the thread, until it is superseded by a succeeding post. But the length of the post does not matter, it is its position at the end of the thread that counts, and that's where this post will be when I post it, although it likely will not retain that position for long. Still, I will have the win for a short time and that is a small bit of happiness in this sometimes dark and bleak, but also often wonderful and bright, world.
