Is it just the first page that has the problem when you return from standby? If you turn the page, does the font get darker again?

The issue I am seeing with sleep mode is that the first page after waking from sleep is very light, but it goes back to normal after I turn the page. It doesn't seem to be related to the font weight adjustment, because even fonts that I have not adjusted are lighter than normal on the first page after waking from sleep. It happens in epubs and kobo-bought kepubs.


Edit: About the device ejection: In Debian Linux the system eject function doesn't make my Glo exit from USB mode, but ejecting from Calibre does. Whatever Calibre is doing is different than the normal system eject.
