Some things that you wrote just flew over my head.
First, I don't know where the Kindle driver is. So I can't hover over it, because I don't see it.
Yes, I have Count Pages plugin, and a custom column called Pages where I download page count from Goodreads.
Could you dumb it down on how I can set Calibre to use that information instead of calculating.
I appreciate your response, but all this technical talk is not really my forte.
