For the purposes of freebie price-drop availability, I can tell you that Google Play switches over just a little bit after midnight Eastern Time. But I've no idea how their pre-orders work, sorry.

Bargain @ 99 cents each, with some authors having extra titles at the $1.99-$3.99 mark (US-only, unfortunately for international Gentle Readers) from HarperCollins (apparently from their new-ish HarperCollins e-books imprint). From the looks of the covers, there's some old school backlist stuff in the batches.

I ran a search in the thread for a couple of the author names and came up with nothing, so this seems to be a new deal that hasn't been mentioned yet, and I'm just going to link you to the author names at Kobo, auto-sorted by price. I tried to take a guess at the likely sub-genres in case you've got particular preferences you want to zero in upon, but I am literally judging these books by the covers here and might have gotten it wrong.
  • Barbara Boswell, mostly writes contemporary, but her one sale book is listed as an historical, though it may be a misfile since the blurb sounds contemporary
  • Edith Layton, historical
  • Ana Leigh, historical
  • Judi McCoy, contemporary, what looks like maybe romantic comedy or chick-lit, and also some maybe-cozy/humorous mysteries as well at the $2.99 mark
  • Hailey North, contemporary, what looks like maybe romantic comedy or chick-lit
  • Kathryn Smith, historical and what looks like maybe contemporary erotic
  • Teresa Southwick, historical
  • Judith Stanton, historical
These were all the authors who had obvious romance-y looking covers and titles I spotted while looking for my own sf/fantasy/mystery deals, so there's probably more out there.

If there's any among them that happened to be among your old school favourites whom you were hoping would price-drop, enjoy!
