ETA: If you live near a Best Buy you can go check it out to see the weight and size. That is what I did. The box it comes in easily allows you to remove the case without damaging the box are breaking a seal, so you could even take it out and examine it in the store. And the case it tapered around the edges just like the Voyage, so it feels even less bulky than the 1/2" or so thickness makes it sound. Very comfortable to hold and it has a nice texture too.
Thank you for all the details, finally found one at another BB. They had only 2 black plastic only, but I like it, reminds me of all the silicone back covers I put on sleek tablets.

I would never have tried it based on the Amazon description.
