You definitely will get support from Amazon Germany in English as well.
It might take slightly longer (a few hours tops), but they definitely won't ignore you.
Often enough (not just with Amazon) I send English requests, as you never really know where your email eventually will end up.
I've sent an English email to Adobe Germany, for example. Their web form was in English, so naturally I filled it out in English as well. But then their German CS did contact me and asked, whether I prefer English or German.
In that regard, Germany is quite multi-cultural.
