I'm a
Doctor Who fan, and so I was interested in
Broadchurch due to David Tennant's appearance. However, when I'd heard there was going to be a U. S. version of the series also starring David Tennant, I decided to wait for it. From what I understand, although both
Broadchurch and
Gracepoint have the same starting point, each series goes in it's own direction.
I've enjoyed
Gracepoint and for the first time I have a series that I not only rewatch to make sure that I catch the small details, I also watch each episode as soon as possible. To quote
Midnight Star by "Weird Al" Yankovic: I wanna know! I wanna know!
Now to take this off topic:
Why do people seem to like some typefaces and reject others? I think that there is no such thing as a bad typeface, but each has an appropriate use. As an example, I think Comic Sans is fine for a casual and informal note, but not for serious uses like wills.
