Actually I have to disagree there. I've had problems before where I had bought some books and at least one of them had failed to show the download tab at first. I did check to make sure both books were able to be viewed by ereader (which has meant either acsm links or straight epub downloads with past purchases) so I assumed that it was a hick up at Kobo this time. I had forgotten that some have said in the past that some books there are the kepub format. Whether intentional or not I do think it is a bit deceptive to say they are able to be viewed in ereaders and then have additional complications via needed desktop software.
