Copy to library question
When I copy books from one library to another... it does not overwrite preexisting information. Is there a way to set Calibre to overwrite the information in the library I am copying to?
I have three libraries:
1) Master: Which has ALL books in it and the one I work out of daily and make changes to books when needed.
2) Adults: Has books that the adults in the house access
3) Kids: Has books that the kids access
Periodically I have to update metadata, change genre, add a format, etc. like when a new version comes out... anyway when I copy from the Master Library to one of the other two libraries then the new metadata isn't copied over.
Recent example:
Master Library: Book 1 (I added updated genre metadata)
Kids Library: Book 1 already exists... metadata not changed when I copy the book from Master Library to Kids Library
