I've got good news (no, I didn't change my automobile insurance to GEICO). MobileRead is not haunted after all!!!

Several messages back, I mentioned that when I tried to quote someone in a post, I would get a quote from one of Little.Egret's messages (#99). I felt sure that MobileRead, or at least this thread, must be haunted in some way, especially because of the looming specter of Halloween upon us.

Well, I just found out that there is nothing creepy going on; there is not even a software glitch. The reason that for the incorrect quote appearing in my attempts to reply to people was the fact that I inadvertently had clicked on the "Multi-Quote This Message" button of Little.Egret's message #99! Doh!

I apologize if I frightened anyone. But, we can all relax now: MobileRead is not haunted! Well, at least, it's not haunted in the way that I thought, it may be haunted in some other way.

I'd still be cautious in the next week or so, until Halloween is over. You never know.
