I've been using the advanced font control on 3.1.1 and sideloaded fonts without any issues that I can tell.
Definitely a big thanks to GeoffR for the patches. The kobo software has many shortfalls and would possibly make me return the H2O without them. Why Kobo can't do the basic things these patches do is beyond me???
