My PW2 is more warm, but not overly so. More creamy rather than yellow.

I went through quite a few replacements on both the pw2 and the pw1 and can say the warm and cool tones varied greatly between all of them. I don't think either device has consistently warm or cool screens from what I saw. In many cases, even within the same tone, they varied. I remember at one point when I was dealing with an Amazon rep trying to help me get a decent pw1 and having a bunch in front of me and every screen varied in cool and warm tones and also in saturation of tone.

My personal experience was that the pw1s I saw were generally cooler in tone than the pw2. However, you'll see above my post that joehunt's experience was the opposite. So I think it simply varies.
