But persistent so that it is also default after a reboot.
If you check the Developer's Corner in the Instructions for patching firmware x.y.x threads, Search in library by default is one of the patches.

For firmware 3.11, see Instructions for patching firmware 3.11.0

For 3.8.0, see Instructions for patching firmware 3.8.0

For earlier firmware, I'm going to leave finding the threads as an exercise for the student. Such a nice sounding way to justify laziness.
