Obviously, it's the same as with paper books. The freedom to read without content being censored.

It's nice to be able to get eBooks from public libraries, but I'm not personally going to use the word freedom when it comes to pricing or terms of service.

I could see adding to the OP survey something like this:

To be able to borrow AZW eBooks from the library without Amazon computers storing my reading list.

Am I equating this slight privacy issue with the serious eBook censorship practiced in many non-democratic countries? No.
